Over 600 participants enjoyed the Congress.
See you in Malmo, Sweden in 2025.

Dear Colleagues and Friends!

On behalf of the Danish Society of Rheumatology, it is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the 39th Scandinavian Congress of Rheumatology to be held 23 – 26 August 2023 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Copenhagen is home to one of the oldest monarchies in the world. History alternates with modernity in green and sustainable Copenhagen which has been ranked as one of the most livable cities worldwide and which is known for its bicycle culture.

The venue will be at the stylish and spectacular Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center, close to the Harbour, and with luxury facilities in fashionable Copenhagen. All activities including scientific symposia, poster sessions, exhibition hall, coffee breaks and lunch will take place at the hotel. The Scandinavian Congress of Rheumatology is an inspiring event, where clinicians and scientists have the opportunity to socialise, and exchange knowledge, experience, and ideas in order to promote collaboration and networking.

As we experience broad and rapid scientific and digital progress, that may revolutionize the way we approach rheumatology, we have chosen to focus on current issues and interdisciplinary interaction, as well as future challenges, not only confined to typical rheumatology fields, but to areas that may inspire or impact our current knowledge and approach to diagnosis and treatment. We hope and believe that the programme will attract both young and established rheumatologists both from Scandinavia and other countries.
As a first in Denmark, and as an acknowledgment that Rheumatology is not only dependant on medical specialists, but on skilled health professionals as well, our programme will include sessions for rheumatology health professionals.
Looking forward to seeing you all in Copenhagen in 2023.
